How can 376hp/410tq in a car that weighs slightly less than the Charger R/T, which is making LESS power, put up slower numbers in a Challenger?

no it is not....do not go by edmunds please...they are bias. The RT numbers will be wayyyy lower. how would a charger be more aerodynamic?

They mention having to make a 2-3 shift to reach 60mph. The Charger was auto only, so shifts do not matter. Conditions may also make a difference. Still I would have expected to see the Challenger a little faster than the Charger.

It's like when the '08 SRT was first reviewed and people instantly got the impression that the Challenger was an overpriced gas guzzler. You could try to tell people that a smaller V8 and even a V6 were coming, but the impression was already there.
Oh, well. Maybe time will straighten all this out. All those people who read that 0-60 time and believe it will get an awakening when they meet their first R/T at a stoplight!
