I posted my entry.

Some of the story has been posted here before, a long time ago I think under my new member story, some in bits and pieces. Thanks for the photobucket idea. It was easy to load photos and use. And easy to place a link on the red letter dodge story I posted there. There are two photos of the 1970 Challenger from when I first got it and before any restoration work. They've not been posted before.

Here's the RLD link to my story:

Great reading Steve!

I worry that it will not be counted because the contest is 500 words or less, and you have a total of 1,651 words, or 135 lines.
That would lay out on 4 total (book margin)pages, but i'm sure you know that because you wrote it.
It may be that it wont matter, but after reading it, you are the one I would vote for! Best of luck Bro!

Should have sent it to me first, Steve. I actually get paid to make stories fit space requirements.

Aside from exceeding the length regulation, a fine effort nonetheless. As we would say, a great read.

Yes, I am aware that I've exceeded length. Then again, the story spans 40 years and weaves 5 stories together, and the response here and on Thunderbird forum has been very positive. Even though it is long, I think it is, as was said, "an easy read".
thanks again,
Steve
