We had a couple inches last week., plus hovering temps above and below freezing...gives new meaning to the term "drift driving"

Last two days were dry and clear so I took Challenger out. Nothing quite so unpleasant as the sound of salt bouncing around the wheel houses.

Cool photos, but, it's sacrilege... Unfortunately, as soon as the first flakes started flying in the beginning of November here (Central PA) and the cinder/salt trucks started rolling, my Challenger went into the garage, up on wheel dollies and covered with it's military surplus parachute. I hate not driving it, but it truly will only be a warm weather, sunny day driver. I sit in it every couple of weeks and run the engine, listen to SIRIUS and think fondly of Spring. Because of the massive amounts of cinders and salt used in PA, I will not drive it during the Winter. I want to keep and enjoy my lovely Stone White Challenger (right RG!) for years to come!

Yeah, mss3dodge, if I still lived in Iowa, I'd have my Challenger in storage now, too. But since they've never heard of salting roads in South Texas...

So we had snow overnight here in the Seattle area and for gosh sakes, unfortunately, THE CAR had to go out in the snow for the first time. Not that I wanted to do it, but it was a must given the situation...I backed out of the garage and got the kids' sleds down, then quickly put her away again in the warmth and comfort of a dry garage. Whew, I thought it was gonna be rough, except that now I'm not out driving.
