Default Cut outs

Has anyone looked into getting cut outs for the exhaust and keeping the stock exhaust for normal driving and then opening up the cut outs to blow the doors off of anyone who gives you a funny look or ricers lol.

Default RE: Cut outs

Go to jegs.com and type in 'exhaust cutouts' and do a search. They go from around 50 and up for manual to around 600 bucks for electric. I had the manuals on my GTO and took them off when I ran at the track. I stayed away from the electric ones as there is more to go wrong, road gunk gets caught in the valve, wiring problems, etc. If you get the manuals the local muffler shop could probably install them for about 50-100 bucks. If they do, be sure and have them tack the bolts to the flange, where it is a one hand job to take the wing nuts off/on versus a two hand job without them tacked on.
