Boy! I didn't realize Fusions were so much BIGGER than the new Challenger! The Challenger is a tiny compact car! Oh, wait...this was a NASCAR race. Hence, nothing you see in those pics (aside from the Challenger) is real....

That pace car looked pretty damn cool out there in front of the field most of the night. Was a good race too.

Sad... but I think its the only time a Dodge led the race. I hope they turn it up a notch or this years going to be like last year. The Toyotas looked bad last year and this year they (NASCAR) must have gave them everything they wanted. Because they are better than most of the Dodges and Fords. And in my book... thats just sad[]

I won't knock Toyota either.

I get Lear's point however. Things we hold to be American (NASCAR) being infultrated by a foreign manufacturer. I think it would be as disconcerting if it were Volkswagon or Porsche or Renault...it just happens to be Toyota.

One thing I will say, is sure the pictures on the outside say toyota...but there is nothing Toyota about it. What makes THAT sad, is there is nothing Dodge about the dodge cars probably either.

Unless of course I am mistaken and there is a NASCAR stipulation that you have to start w/ at least a manufacturers engine block..but I doubt it.

You are correct that there is nothing manufacture wise left on the cars. They are decaled doubles. And the engines are straight race bred.
