Default Droptop model?

Any of the insiders have knowledge of whether or not a vert will be produced? I know there has been nothing official so far but i thought an insider may have at least heard something reliable.

Not that I'm an insider or someone with anyone reliable to say, but with gas going how it is, I'd be happy to see the challenger in its current form exist for 3 model years. Plus between the sebring convertible and the demon I don't think they're gonna do a 3rd.

All reports in various car mags still say the vert will be produced in 2010.

I don't see how the gas crisis would affect an SE vert.

2010 at the earliest, there have been rumors, but nothing certain. I am not an insider though.

I think it was the May issue of Car and Driver that had an 2010 drop top that THEY said would be produced. I believe them... a magazine never lies.

They did some kind of 10 cars to wait for in 2010. They also had an 6.2L mustang in 2010????????????

I am moving more towards the coupe anyway but would be nice to see a vert out there.

My vote would be for a retractable hardtop. Has anyone seen the new Sebring retractable hardtop?

I doubt they would go for a hard-top vert, mainly because of the additional weight that would have to be added. Also, they'd have to change the design of the rear to be able to fit the top in it, more so than if they just had a folding soft top. Just my thoughts...
