I got a call last night from an a Dodge engineer telling me that he’d seen an article come out that they are now offering the employee discount on Challenger SE and R/T. Anyone hear about this or can confirm or deny it? I Hope this is true because my father was a Dodge engineer for 40+ Years and I would love to be able to use his discount on this car.

 

66Cuda, my wife was an office manager for a Dodge dealership here in NJ for 27 yrs and retired like 3 yrs ago. We ,( meaning her and I) LOL, decided to order a 2009 R/T ( meaning she let me get one) LOL. Anyway we went to this dealer and they said sorry no present or past employee discounts on any Challengers. Now she has 2 girlfriends that still work there who the owner said can use their emploee discounts for us or themselves on any other car but NOT THE CHALLENGER !
I ordered my 2009 R/T anyway at MSRP and I can't wait for it to come in.
My wife's girlfreinds who still work there of course said if there is any change in this they would let us know but nothing yet. I'm not counting on any discount but I'm sure it will come maybe next year. Thats all I know so good luck!

I received an email from a dealership yesterday that said Dodge announced employee discounts are approved for the se and rt. I didn't call but I have to believe the dealer is telling the truth. The dealership was Golling in Michigan.

 

I am a Chrysler employee and logged into "build a vehicle" which reflects employee price. Neither SE or RT are showing a discount; however, the list of vehicles that use to be excluded from the discount now states Dodge Challenger STR8 where last month it stated Dodge Challenger. This may be a sign that SE and RT will be discounted if you are a Chrysler employee, but I have not seen any documentation that it will be rolled out to the public, yet.

 

I ordred my R/T from Golling so this could be good news for me.

 

I bet the employee website will be updated within a week. There are a slew of se's and rt's on the lots in this area.

 

Would also make sense to match GMs program...which includes the Corvette. So come on Chrysler LLC, let's get busy on the SRT too!!

 

I hope they add srt also that would be great
