Employee Pricing
Just got this email from my local dealer
"Just thought I would let you know that Employee Pricing ++ is back! Starting Monday January 26th, all vehicles (including the Dodge Challenger, but not the Dodge Sprinter) are included in this great promotion. " might be a good time to buy for some folks that haven't yet. I wonder how much they will be discounted. s> |
RE: Employee Pricing
Sounds like a good start to getting sales going
|
RE: Employee Pricing
Supposedly this is in conjunction with zero% financing too. If they can't move iron with those deals, the funeral home isn't far away.
|
RE: Employee Pricing
I emailed a salesman at a local dealership I have talked with asking what the deal will be. I have not heard from him yet. I am VERY curious to see the details myself. I was hoping to buy in May but.......
I think they want to seriously move inventory to justify reopening all of the plants and get marketshare up. Hopefully this will help. |
RE: Employee Pricing
Does this include SRT-8 models?

RE: Employee Pricing
Hello all, I just order a r/t today the cost of the car (sticker) 35,995 ep pricing 32,891 plus 1,000 rebate with 2.9%.
It's on the RT'S and SE'S Dodge does charge you a $125 doc fee for EP pricing |
RE: Employee Pricing
I have to admit that I'd never heard of the Sprinter. Naturally, I looked it up. Rather odd-looking vehicle.

RE: Employee Pricing
The Sprinter is Daimler based...replaced the original Dodge Van. The Diesel gets great mileage.
And, for those we are interested, the SRT8 is included in the Employee Pricing from what I have read.... ORIGINAL: RoswellGrey I have to admit that I'd never heard of the Sprinter. Naturally, I looked it up. Rather odd-looking vehicle. |
RE: Employee Pricing
Even though the Sprinter is one sweet ride.. i still think i would buy the challenger over the sprinter

RE: Employee Pricing
Oh I don't know...I was thinking of buying one, painting it brown with maybe some yellow lettering, then drive it all over town....oh wait someone already does that...........
Yes I would say the Challenger is a bit more "sportly" (and a lot more fun to drive) than the Sprinter is or ever could be..... ORIGINAL: davecpa Even though the Sprinter is one sweet ride.. i still think i would buy the challenger over the sprinter |

RE: Employee Pricing
Pre-order will work if you can get the car delivered before 31 March. This is per Chrysler Incentive hotline. Check out lovemycredit.org for another $1K off the R/T and SE if you finance through your credit .

RE: Employee Pricing
MY dealer said that is the price I will pay when the car comes in. Which will be in 12 weeks. I have the bill of sale with the EP pricing on it. And a estimate delivery date of 5/1/09 (btw) When I order it on sunday they where real busy so I had the owner of the dealership sell me the car...

RE: Employee Pricing
my dodge dealer in riverside california (who shall remain nameless to protect all those dealers who charge to much).. reduced my preordered chally to the new pricing... my dealer rocks!!! cant name any names just that rolling stones dont gather any MOSS Bros.
|
RE: Employee Pricing
Yeah man, wish I had some dough to buy a new stone white chally R/T stick. Signs of the times........ (sigh)
|
RE: Employee Pricing
Good luck there Bro'! [sm=smiley13.gif]

RE: Employee Pricing
Just saw a commercial for it and the first time I saw a Challenger in one!
It was a red one leading the pack of all the other red dodge cars in the the line up.......8) Still amazed they haven't had on TV ad out telling the world about our car. I guess that is a good thing too, I'm still breaking necks as I drive by people.......hehe |
RE: Employee Pricing
Bad news. Chrysler just announced the employee pricing program is ending today for Challys. Everything else continues. Somebody finally woke up I think.

RE: Employee Pricing
link?
|
RE: Employee Pricing
I didn't get it from the website. I was working thru my dealer to buy one and he called me this morning. You can still work a deal today however.
|
RE: Employee Pricing
yep you are right my dealer just told me the same thing....i guess this was all a scam by chrysler..............also they raised the msrp of the challenger by 400$......this is pissing me off.
|
RE: Employee Pricing
You're right. I was very lucky, my dealer found a guy willing to dealer trade that had exactly the car I wanted. SRT, Hemi Orange, Stick, all options. I was able to get it with the employee pricing, $1000 rebate plus 0% financing. Tomorrow they will be back to list again. What sense does that make?
|
RE: Employee Pricing
I ordered a Challenger RT Classic on 1/29/2009 Silver. On the contract it says delivery on March 15,2009. I frankly don't believe it. Employee pricing discount plus $1,000 discount for financing.
I received a card in the mail from my dealer about owners- only cash allowance up to $2000 off. At the bottom in fine print it states: We reserve the right to discontinue or modify these offers at any time, without further notice or obligation. MoparGuy, also in Wi. Milw. |
RE: Employee Pricing
Very cool. I just bought mine today. My dealer is Reed in Beaver Dam but he found the car I wanted at Holiday Dodge in Fond Du Lac. Srt with the 6 speed and all options, listed at $45,525 then got $5,100 off (includes the $1,000 rebate) plus 0% for 48 months. I pick it up Wednesday and couldn't be happier with the deal.
Hope yours comes in on schedule, that would be awesome. |
RE: Employee Pricing
I just talked with two dealers and EP is still in effect.
|
RE: Employee Pricing
at my local Dodge Dealer they have the 2009 Challenger listed at 37,615 after rebates 32,845 they don't specify R/T or SRT but the pic of the Challenger in the listing has R/T wheels so i am guessin R/T it is Dartmouth Dodge in MA
|
RE: Employee Pricing
It's still on the Dodge website so until they drop it from there, I would think it's still in effect. I have to wonder if it's the dealer's way of saying they aren't going to do it and just making people believe that it isn't going on anymore? Why don't they just come out and say that they aren't going to participate on the Challenger just like the dealer I talked with?
|
RE: Employee Pricing
cause they wanna take as much profit they can get outta the challenger
|
RE: Employee Pricing
You got it. I couldn't blame them if the economy was better.

RE: indeed
My dealer showed me the letter from Dodge stating that Challengers were being removed from the EPP program as of today. Maybe it's just this part of the country, I don't know, but it sure didn't make sense to have them on there. On a darker note, Chrysler sales were down 55% in January so they've got to do something to move cars.
|
RE: indeed
Looking at the website closer, they did change it. It now says offer 1 and offer 2, the employee pricing is no longer on there.
2009 Challenger (excl. SRT8) Offer 1: Get plus $1,000 Chrysler Financial Bonus Cash Allowance Offer 2: Get low APR financing plus $1,000 Chrysler Financial Bonus Cash Allowance However, when you build the car, it still has the employee pricing discount listed, though I'm sure if Chrysler comes to these boards, it won't remain there much longer. |
RE: indeed
it says EP for ALL meaning it is included PLUS offer#1 or offer #2
it is still available for RT s and SEs |
RE: indeed
What I meant by that is that if you look at my first post that I copied it shows the employee pricing. Now they changed it and it's not on there.
So far we have mixed signals from dealers. Some are telling people that it isn't on the Challengers now and others, like the one I called, said it's still going. Guess the best thing to do is just call around until someone says yes. |
RE: indeed
Let me just Congratulate anyone who bought their Challanger with the Employee Pricing Plan. It was a great deal all around for a car I believe is way overpriced already. It brought them down to a respectable price. They didn't have this plan going because they were flying out of the showrooms thats for sure. Now Chrysler raises the prices even more. Let them sit on the lots again and jump on them next time when they decide they have to go to the Employee Pricing Plan to sell off the inventory. Another thing don't forget it should be 0% percent financing for everyone, after all it's our money their loaning back to us that the goverment gave them in the bailout.
