I'm sorry, mopar, but we folks from the Amazing Future World of 2009 are no longer allowed to discuss such information with you poor unfortunates from the turn of the century. Apparently, too many of you have been attempting to get your Horseless Carriage Challengers to perform like our Modern cars by adding such things as "turbo" systems and even going so far as to imitate our Modern Vinyl Stripes. Surely, you can realize that passing out knowledge about our vehicles could be dangerous in your "current" time period.

RE: GM / Chrysler story
You ever think about seeing someone about your condition. They have some really good drugs these day.

All this means, mopar, is that it's time for another moment in Challenger history!

Come to think of it... you"re right Joe. Don"t think I have seen a thread here yet that has retained the original topic for more than about 3 posts. Seems that somehow someone always reels it back in though.
Getting back to the topic of this thread... I am wondering how much trouble these two are in... and what thier projections are for running out of cash if they don"t merge. With the current state of the economy and the rate that the car manufacturers are burning through thier cash... is it just a matter of time..??
How come we"re hearing so much about GM and Mopar but nothing about Ford..?? Surely they can"t be fairing any better can they?

Also... the banks aren"t going to be risking loans to these guys with the current economic woes. GM would also stand to gain the $25 billion dollar government loan earmarked for Chrysler in addition to Chryslers $10 billion cash reserves.

With all the right parts to do it correctly? You'll spend more than an R/T at MSRP.
