I understand none of the 08s have wheel hop. Is this just a 6 speed issue or an 09 issue?

only 6 speeds which is a first year car...09s are the first year with 6 speeds hence the problems.

Sorry, but both 08 and 09 are first year cars since they were both built within the first 12 months, not sure what running changes they made.

Absolutely correct. Realistically, the "2008" models are nothing more than the first 6,400 of what (based on the shape of the economy) probably will end up being a car produced for just one year (if production even makes it 12 calendar months). Undoubtedly there were running changes made during the production of the first 6,400 and there will continue to be changes made till the last Challenger rolls out of the door at Brampton.

for a few weeks, and I wouldnt chant for it to go down either as the value of our beloved challengers would go down to 0. well maybe not for you and me rudy cuz we are young and can wait 30 years for it to gain value lol

The problem is now resolved.

Or maybe I should just get an 09 Manual and have a V7.

Because the 7th cylinder misfire is a PRETTY BAD ISSUE THAT IS ONLY AFFECTING THE 2ND YEAR CARS.
