for those that are interested,
the new tires are BFGoodrich Long Trail TA
255/70/17 in back,, 225/65/17 in front..

These are the ONLY tires you can get with white letters that do both sizes in a 17"..

It came stock with 28" tires..
The backs are 31x10.25 ,, the fronts are 28.5x9
It raised it a full 2" in the rear..
(they also make a 255/65/17 = 30x10.25.)

Yes! That's exactly what I want for my SE. Those are perfect!

 

I like the look of the white letters. But are you seeing any rubbing when you compress the suspension? Looks pretty tight in the wheel well now.

First off when I read the subject of the post I thought ...OH NO....but then I saw the[sm=Flahssssss.gif] pictures and now I think only on that color Challenger and maybe the white Challenger.....those tires look great on that color BLUE.....and I don't know if thats the B5-Blue or not but whatever it is ,its one awesome blue and those raised white lettered tires look cool on THAT car!! Hey brother, that thing looks absolutely great with the raised white letter tires. Not a fit for all models, but wow, the SE definitely makes them work! Nice touch, even a little old school with the larger tires in the rear!

 

I like it Those really look nice and are so complimentry to the over all look of the car. I hope to go that route on mine.
