I had a 1973 Dodge Challenger, 340 4-barrel, automatic with headers. That car was sweeeet. It turned more heads than anything I've had since. The styling was so nice. This is why I'm interested in the new Challenger!

I have never had one, But would LOVE to have a 1972 because that was the year I was born. I think that would be cool to have a car the same age as myself. But I looked around for any descent(at least running with some work that needed to be done) and the prices are too high for me at this current stage in my life. Need to hit that Lotto.

Never had an E-body.... always seemed to gravitate to the B-bodies; still do. Always wanted one, though.

That was my second car at age 17. 73 340 triple black bought in 76 with 34,000 miles and owned the next 17 yrs. That car screamed and made converts out of many "other" brand owners around here after getting spanked by it! Best and most fun car I've ever owned! What memories I have of that car!

I current own a 1972 with Matching numbers. Currently its being restored and hoping to have it done in 2007. In the picture mine is in Brown prime and the other is a 1973 which belongs to my Brother-in-Law.

My wife and I currently own 3 1971 Challengers.

The purple car in my avatar.

An orange project car ( it will get a 440 ).

And a parts car (very rusted out).

And I have had one other 1971 challenger project car before.

Not that Im stuck on 1971's but thats what I ended up with.

I owned a '73 340 Rallye Challenger bought in high school in 1973. It was red with black inside and on top, with an automatic. Guess what color my new concept Challenger will be?

Many of you had seen my picture before but here it is again.

This is a '73 model car with a '72 sublime color. I owned it for 5 years before I sold it
because I got a company car....Ford Granada.....Yuk!

While I didn't paint it, I did all of the mods including hydraulics shocks in the back(Notice how it clears the rear tires)
and the body work. I also remember I did not like how the Torsions Bars worked

Gosh those turbine wheels were hard to clean but they looked great.

I've had 2 74 Challengers 1 with a 360. (My first actual car I drove.) The other was a 318 car. that one was a waste of time it was full of bondo(I was young and stupid).
