How many miles on your challenger

RE: How many miles on your challenger
Exactly 1100 miles after picking the Black Beast up 10/22.
So far, 3 people (that I have seen) have taken pictures of my Challenger, while I am driving it!
A big thumbs up, and or a serious smiley looky loo, every few miles from somebody, equally split between women and men, I might add.
At this point, I do not plan on changing one single thing-the Dodge boys hit it out of the park with the Challenger as far as I am concerned.
Well, a Billet Technologies oil catch can and front emblem are the only exceptions to the self imposed no change rule. The catch can has produced a heaping tablespoon of oil in 1100 miles-I think a smart addition, that the Dodge deleted for cost reasons.
Love Rudy's comment on heated seats under 60 degrees; here in the Pacific NW, 60 degrees is exuberant sangria deck chair sandals Jimmy Buffet time!!!

RE: How many miles on your challenger
I am approaching 4000 miles. But I want to say that I really like the fact that many forum folks are putting lots of miles on their cars. I really enjoy every mile I put on and don't want to hold back for too many reasons (although I hold back for snow, salt, sand...). I am planning a road trip for next Summer. I bought my beauty for my retirement muscle car (no project cars here!). I still have 9 more years but I thought it was a good investment now. Hey, there may not even be true muscle cars available next year...

485 miles since Black Friday. This isn't my everyday driver...I drive it on the weekends and when I get the urge to (which has been often). I want to keep the miles low and I split my driving between my 01 Dakota QC 4x4 and my 04 Jetta TDI that gets 50mpg.

RE: How many miles on your challenger
Just a shade over 2000 miles since mid November. Bought the car to drive all year, including through the Northern IL winters though I do have a beater pick-up for when it is calling for accumulating snow.
Which was working out until the truck decided to leak brake fluid out of the rear system somehow. I can't find any leaks now, filled the master cylinder and bled them and now it seems ok. The result was I did end up driving the Challenger in a 2-4 inch snow storm for a few days with no issues. It handled well with the stock all seasons on 20's.
Right now the challenger is sitting in my driveway covered in the latest 8 inches (and counting) snow dumping we are getting here.

905 miles - roughly 480 of which were from the trip home from Frederick CJD in Ohio.
Snow storm after stow storm in upstate NY is relegating my SRT8 to sit in the driveway, waiting for some bare pavement to get a little exercise - and a few more miles.

RE: How many miles on your challenger
Just picked up my Silver SRT on 12/14/09 and only have 168 miles on her... still can't get that grin off my face. Being that I am in Dallas miles in the winter will be no problem, baring any more of that dreadful sand and deicing agent on the streets. My most reliable shoe box of a Scion XB allowed me to purchase this car and keeps her in the garage when the streets are not up to the Challenger.
