Hey everyone,

Curious if we all could share our pricing stories? I have heard all these stories of $10K to $20K over and more, but have had two people here say they paid MSRP.

I have ordered a Black '08, w/nav, w/tires, w/o sunroof.
$2,000 deposit - refundable
5K over MSRP

You guys can pay what you want, but I can't believe people will pay a nickel over MSRP on a 12 mpg gas guzzler when premium is close to $5/gal. I think the tables have turned on the Dodge dealers and you should be able to get fair prices from them.

I fully agree, but since most have orders pending for over six months...and it seems plenty waiting in the wings....I was wondering what's being paid. It could possibly help a lot of us renegotiate with the dealers.

The reason I will pay over this is most likely the last generation of real V8 challengers.

No kidding...had a 1971 in highschool.....but dumb kid that I was, got rid of it then. Well worth 5K over to me, but who knows....with the delays and (to some) gas prices.....the dealers may have a couple of cancelled orders.....just wondering ????

P.S. Gas could go to $7 a gallon and I still want this car. If an extra $20 to $40 a tank bothers some people, they shouldn't even be considering a V8.

i paid 5K over which is good for california. their is a dealer about 25 miles from me (that is the closest) they want 15K over i told them to get bent the next closest is 60 miles they want 10K over the best deal i could get was with Joani's dealership 5K moss Bros Dodge it's about 80 or 85 miles but worth the drive.

I paid 5000 over MSRP and have a nice 350 mile road trip home .Hemi orange with Nav Sunroof and tires .My dealer had been offered more but I had already paid my deposit and was first in line . He said he could sell all he could get and 3 others waiting inline should I fall over dead or something . Hes been great to work with has ask me how I want my car and said NOONE will drive it and touch it until im there to direct them .

Thanks for the info....I have mine ordered with Moss Bros also....which one??? 5K over seems like an average good deal so far .

Final cost is $45,698 with about 3k going to overseas shipping and handling plus dealer fees. I added the 7year/70000 mile extended warranty due to the 15 month/15000 miles piss poor warranty. That cost me $2100. Oh don’t want to forget the $2163 gas guzzler tax!!!

Well I paid MSRP with a $1000 refundable deposit. I would have paid $5K over I think but not $10K.
