RE: How much did you pay?
Only a month? I was in D status 9 weeks! I don't think you'll have to suffer as long as I had to, just hang in and good luck. It won't be long now.

RE: How much did you pay?
I need to vent a bit....sorry.
It sure seems that everywhere west of Colorado is getting treated fairly (MSRP or close) by the dealers and they are also actually getting their cars shipped.
California dealers sure seem to be charging a lot more and Dodge is shipping last to those that paid the most.....very disheartening.
Dave
Thank you all for the phsyciatric session...lol

RE: How much did you pay?
Just some thoughts about pricing, using those of us that have ordered a car.
I bought the very first Charger RT in my area. I paid MSRP. I got lucky, most paid $5,000 over for a couple of years. Until the gas price problem, most SRT8 cars were still selling over MSRP. If we use the Charger for an example, the V6 cars wont be worth much, got rebates in the first year and still do. The RT and SRT never really got any deals. The V6 Challenger, still dont understand a muscle car without muscles, guess some just need to look cool, will do the same. I believe anyone buying the V6 is going to lose a lot more than those of us that paid MSRP up to $5,000 over. Please look at the responses in this post and you will see that most who ordered the 2008 paid a very fair price. As we can see in the pricing announced for the 09s and add all of the options to make it comparable to an 08, those that waited for an 09 are already facing a beginning price of $3,000 more than the 2008 model. Therefore, those bragging that they waited for the 09 and agreed to MSRP, are paying alot more than most midwest and eastcoast people paid for the 08.

RE: How much did you pay?
The 08 SRT is definitely looking like a better deal than many had first thought. The addition of limited slip is not a big deal to all, but for some people that makes the additional cost worthwhile.
