How much of a premium?
Hi Everyone,
New to the forum and looking to buy the challenger in a few days. Anyone know if the dealers are starting to take sticker or there is still a premium?
I remember hearing as high as 20k but I think that has been trimmed down to 10k or under. Is that true.? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Forum!
I depends on the dealer. The best thing you can do is shop around your local dealers and see what they are asking. If they ask for more than 5k or more over, do yourself a favor and keep looking. There are still a lot of gougers out there, and we all hope their cars rot on the lots. But some have gotten lucky enough to find some decent deals from MSRP to 1-2k over. If you need some help finding a good dealer, look back in some of the older posts. There is one that lists good/bad dealers. You may have to buy from another state to get the best deal. If you are willing to wait, your best route right now is to probably to just pre-order an 09 model. You can get what you want in the car and have a better chance to negotiate a decent price. Just make sure you get that price in writing so that the dealer doesn't "cancel" your order and sell your car to someone else for more money.
Good Luck on your Hunt.

I saved $6,000 by getting mine in Boston, now the dealers here have them sitting on the lot. If youre still in the market call Pearson Dodge in Richmond, they had a Silver and an Orange.
