Shaker Hood Pictures

 

As I was wondering the SEMA show HXC had the best Shaker Hood and there was some bad ones from other venders.

 

2k and i still have to paint an install it?
am I just being a cheap ass punk or does that seem like a lot of money ??

I'm willin gto believe I'm wrong, as I don't know much about hood prices

I wouldnt buy this....this is wayyyy overpriced....I have been following danko since he was on the charger forums....this same product is alot alot cheaper for the charger and it is the same thing. If you have the money buy it, it looks great danko is the best, but if you want to save money wait a while.

 

if your gonna spend that kinda money just cut a hole in the hood you got now and stick a blower through it

I would have guessed 1/2 that number...yikes.

 

I am in no way affiliated with this company, but you guys aparently have no idea what is involved in the concept, modeling, prototype building, and production tooling required to offer this type of product. All of this is required and is indirect cost - that every part produced must help pay for... and you still haven't built the hood and related parts you guys are saying is too expensive!!!!
Some markets are more predictable. Take for instance the Mustang crowd. Nearly every Mustang guy buys a cowl hood and Flowmasters. They have built a bazillion mustangs and the aftermarket manufacturers know that they will sell the crap out of the parts, so the price is lower.

The other shakers look silly in comparison and knowing where this is built, you won't find a better piece. Pull out your wallets a quit bitchin!
