I finally sat in a 2008 SRT8.....WOW
After all of the anticipation of receiving my own 2009 R/T in a few weeks, truth is that I never sat in the new Challenger until today.
In one word - W O W !
First impression is how big this car really is. It is truly a large coupe, similar in scale to the large Bentley Continental GT. Very comfortable and well built.
I'll bet most members of this forum have never sat in this car yet either. Lucky are those who have been driving them already.
Happy motoring...........I'm counting the days......

Its one thing to sit in it... its a whole new game experiencing it.
The best is yet to come... and trust me... it will come with a big grin... standard equipment apparently...

I sat in a few ’08 SRT cars behind the dealer’s glass never mustering the effort to ask for a test drive. I’m looking at pictures of SRT and R/T seats, other than aesthetics are the seats any different? They really look the same; I really like the old school look horizontal ribbing of the R/T seats.

From what I understand, the bolsters on the side of the seats are a little smaller. Other than that and the ribbed section, not much is different.
