Im new to this
Autostick is like having a manual and auto transmission in one (without the clutch pedal). I had it on a 2001 VW Jetta and loved it! Simple to use and really fun! On the VW they called it Tiptronic though but here's a picture of what it looks like. Different models differ in their setup but basically you just slap it right for a higher gear and slap it left for a lower gear..

The autostick is different but simple. You just put the shifter to the very back position, push it to the right to upshift, and push it to the left to down shift. Very simple. If you don't want to use it, just keep it in drive.

I also prefer a manual, but it's better than nothing on automatic only cars (Stratus, Charger, Magnum, etc.) I have read in the magazines that the Challenger is supposed to have the T-56 Tremec 6-speed transmission, which is the same one used in the Viper, Corvette, high level Mustangs (Cobra and Cobra R).
