How does the unit physically mount into the dash? I see how it is wired, does it just sit in there or is it bolted to something? Where is the cam wire ran after you get into the trunk?
Thanks for your help ! I just want to make sure I know what I am getting into.

The lock pick and added harness tuck neatly under the mygig behind the carbon looking dash panel. I did not bolt it, but padded it to fit snug. The cam wire would have been easier to bring to the front from under the car, but I ran mine along the passenger side and under the door sill. No wire can be seen.

1 more question, in viewing the demo on the lockpick website, they use the uconnect button to switch cameras, control setting etc. My question is are you using the uconnect function in your car and does the lockpick impede the use of the uconnect functions? Like when you hit the uconnect button to make or receive a phone call.

Thanks again for your time.

good question. No
The uconnect button is used on a couple items but it is held for a full 7 seconds. To use uconnect only a touch is needed.

If you are running more then one cam I believe you need a Y adapter for the harness plug in. Im sure the people at coastaletech will know. Remeber also number one jumper is set to up when your box arrives. you must set it down (low speed) for the Challenger

Can you tell me how all the jumpers are to be set? Is it just #1 up and the rest down? Thanks

Did you get the new version 2.0 lockpick? After watching the video it looks a lot more user friendly, plus the ability to mount 2 cams is a standard feature.

Yes 2.0
they mark one as rear and the other as baby cam, but can be used anywhere. The rear cam they sell is nice. water proof, and can be set to mirror image for back up applications
