With all the talk about the lousy interiors in Chrysler cars(to much plastic). It seems Chrysler as decided to create its own " Interior Department" to handle making the interiors of the cars they make better. So hopefully the Challenger won't be loaded with to much plastic pieces.

Thank you for talking about the interior, I was wondering your opinion on how close the production chally will be to the original. It looked from my opinion close the a charger/magnum, 300 with more black pieces and a few accenting silver plastics. But with higher quality pieces come higher quality costs, so it will be "interesting" to see how that will play out.

I think its kinda cool, wish it was more angled down like the original was. But I am sure somebody will come out with that type of shifter for it.

I was thinking the same thing, angled down would be awesome.

Actually, if you look at the interior of most cars these days, the interior is in fact mostly plastic including Lexus. I sat in a new Z4 at the Kansas City autoshow and I was shocked by how loaded it was with cheap plastic. It was cheaper looking than most Pontiacs. I think the Challenger's interior looks good regardless how much of it is plastic.
