didnt realize it, but all 3 cars were tested at different times and in different conditions. pictures were only taken together.

Yeah I just let it go. The Chevy boys are all whooping and slapping each other on the back over the test that in looking at it was skewed in their favor to begin with. I know I'm old school when I remember when road test would compare like performance cars to each other. In the 70s Buick and Olds were the high end of the muscle car spector. But they were compared to the lower cost muscle cars because they were performance oriented. But today they stop and say wait that car is $10,000 more, even if they are equals when it comes to performance. I compare it to a rigged fight. But the Chevy boys are happy with the results so they use the story as gospel. The first time an SS lines up with an SRT-8 and the race is close or God forbid the SS goes down... then they get their feeling hurt and spend $$$ trying to find out whats wrong with their mighty SS. That is why on the streets is where the story will develop roots. Mopar guys should be used to it by now and for the most part we are. Mopar builds nice performance cars and then we add the goodies to get the job done better. There will be 100 Chevys to every 1 Mopar. And 50 Fords to every Mopar. But thats what makes it fun to drive a Dodge Challenger or Viper. We stand out and get the attention. Good luck to the Camaro boys and enjoy your new rides... I'll see you on the street.

LOL I never understood this. Not trying to rub anyone wrong here but why is it so important to get attention in your car? When I bought mine it was never about getting people to look at me. It was all about having fun driving the car. How it feels and how it sounds when it snaps off the line. Guess I'm just not an attention whore?

I'm really quite a private person. But with my new Challenger I had to throw out that attitude. People you don't know and have never seen will ask about the car, stop you and tell stories from their past of the good old days. You will be given thumbs up and cameras galor will snap shots of your car. I never asked for this but I have gotten used to the attention. The snap is there and all that I want in a performance car. Of course you really won't get the full effect until you go test drive one for a day. Then you will know and the smile will be on your face, and LOL you will understand and become an attention whore as you call it even if you never intended to be one.

If you drive a New Challenger...you are an attention whore (your words) whether you like it or not, it comes standard with the Challenger....it's just as lear4406 stated....it's all part of the package....

lol I get looks and thumbs up, comments, even in my mustang gt. Didn't expect that sort of thing and it wasn't something I was anticipating. It certainly doesn't bother me and I'm ofcourse flattered when someone says something. But I haven't let that sort of thing go to my head either.
