I must say I am suprised the car will do a great burnout. You have to be carefull with body lien. That seems to activate ESP.

Put your car in park and hold the ESP button for five seconds to deactivate! Now try a burn out!!!

that's what I do but ESP can not be completely deactivated and if the car goes sideways the least bit then ESP hooks up and shuts down your party

was told by the dealer if you push and hold the start button for 30 seconds when starting its shuts it all the way off (does not over crank the motor) not tested though so I dont know

I smoked the whole block this morning and got yelled at by the wife. No body lean or esp activation[8D]

Mine takes closer to 10 seconds before I get the joyous ding and the ESP OFF display.

The esp will kick in after a few seconds of straight tire spinning unless you tap the brake. This lets the car know you are "playing" and you can continue to spin as long as you tap the brake pedal every 5 seconds. It takes a little learning but works once you get the hang of it.
