Well unfortunately my dealer jacked the price up 6K today. I'm quite bummed... but I'm not going to let it stop me.

Is there any dealer out there with a black 08 srt8 for sale? I'm looking for something much closer to MSRP.

$50k - $60k seems to be the going rate now that Dealers actually have them in their showrooms now

 

there is a dealer in lagrange ind. with one for 48k that i seen on ebay yesterday or call erich henkel dodge in battle creek they are getting 3 more soon thats where i got mine don't let them gouge you for more than 2k over msrp barry case is sales manager ph.269 441 8100

I was just at Palmer Dodge, Indianapolis, IN, today, they have an orange one that is sold and 2 black ones on the way that are not spoken for yet. Sticker is 41K don't know what they are asking.

 

I have counted 5 in Indiana that show up on dealer web sites.

 

Yes it is,but didn't they need a firm order to order? How did they get it? Who did they screw over? I know I am not the only one who had "good faith" in their dealer. I would of called dealer to dealer til I found one on 12/3 if I would have known their intentions.

 

Yea, it was a less than ideal interaction with the dealer. I trusted them too much... I should have got it all in writing. I guess I learned a lesson.

I am wondering if my old dealer will get what they want for the car. They *still* have one on their lot (they did the SAME thing to the guy who ordered that one). My old order will be on their lot soon too.

Either way, I now have a 2009 on order at another dealer in MI suggested by a poster here and have everything in writing. This dealer got 5 08's but is only alloted 1 09? He had said they are only making 3000 09s? I'm wondering if that is true.
