66,

Just wanted to quickly say hi and congratulate you on your new purchase. That thing is absolutely beautiful. I like the cleaner look of no racing stripes on the R/T. ENJOY!

I did order mine, it was ordered on May 14th. It is my understanding that it was one of the first 6speeds produced for the general public.

Cuda, CONGRATS DUDE!!! What a sweet Ride! Good pics and good write up. Now, questions, have you looked to see if the seat bolts have been fixed or do they still stick out too far? Also, have you experienced the skip shift issue yet? It is hard to adapt to it?

Howdy 66Cuda. Can you take some photos of the interior of the car. Mainly were the stick shift is located, the photos online of the manual stick shift are getting old. We need new pics. Thanks bro.

P.S. Have you had lots of stares and pointing from young ladies and other drivers. I know I have. LOL

Thanks guys, I definitely love this car; it is an absolute riot to drive! Everyone loves it. I met a friend up at a local coffee shop and was able to park the car in an area I could keep an eye on her yet still away from everyone else. People would come around the corner and slam there breaks on and stop and look at the car. I had one guy drive past, stop back up and park and get out and walk around her. It's really cool to see.

I am very impressed with the torque on this car, I stopped over a friend’s house and when I was leaving turned the traction control off took her up to about 3,000 RPMs and let her go, WOW! Burn rubber and 20 foot tire tracks!!

TRW, I will take some more pictures of the interior and get them up.

Brucer, I checked the seat bolts and they still seem to be protruding quite a bit and feel sharp. I'm going to get covers for them. Sadly I have experienced the ship shift issue. It’s very odd, it caught me off guard the first couple of times it happened. So far I have only run into it twice. I noticed when I really baby it though first gear it will let me go into second but if I run the gear out a little longer it will then lock it out. I have to admit that I have been getting on the car quite a bit so I will have to experiment a little with it and see when and where it actually starts locking out.

More pictures!
Alright 66cuda, great looking R/T and a 6sp to boot. I'm so jealous!! Even tho it looks just like mine its still a 6sp and I'm sorry to say that its the one thing I had to bargin with the wife about. She can't drive a stick shift and believe me I've tried hard to teach her ! In any case you picked In my opinion a really great color also. Isn't this car totally awesome !! I wanted to be just a tad different so I ordered the hood to fender stripes and I got the light grey seat inserts which I think brightens up the interior a little and the stripes give a little muscle car look . If you end up modifying the exhaust please let me know as I'm looking for help picking a mod out for the exhaust.
Your car and the pictures look really great and the very best of luck to you and with the car. Fat Cat[sm=gears.gif]
