My first Challenger modification will be.......
Many of us have plans to add goodies to the beast. What will you add first? Be it power, audio, or other.....
This will give many of us a collected data base to look back at later, and others an idea of options that can be had.

I am unsure what I will do first alot depends on how well it runs .Will a tune on the computer and cold air do alot for it will be one decideing factor .Another thing is the cuda kit there comeing out with I would want to use on a regular rt so I might save my cash for that project to modify and leave this one alone . I love the 71 cuda look .
I dunno if this just includes mechanical stuff but that's not my area. . . If I get a hemi orange r/t it'll be getting hemi orange seats, r/t side stripes, that t-style chrome shifter unless I get a manual, and an air intake which I understand improves gas mileage and adds a few hp so why not.
Exhaust. Yep, have you heard the Super 44's from flowmaster yet? Oh my goodness.[:-] I have flowmaster's on my 03 hemi ram and man it's a beast, big ole' 4inch tips too.
I think I'll start off small and get a Cold Air Induction kit from K&N or Mopar. I've thought about the supercharger, and that might be down the road a bit when the warranty has expired.
It all depends what the future products bring. I am probably going to wait and see what the mid-09's look like and come with. If by March 2009 there is some news about colors and decal kits I may need to do nothing. Otehrwise, the HXC guys will be hearing from me. Instead of gettign an SRT8 as planned, I may get an R/T. then get it "'Cuda-ized". I know you die hard Challenger fans scoff at the thought, but since Plymouth gone, those of use that owned a 'Cuda would like to have something a bit more personal.
I know exactly what my daughter would do. She would paint a large #7 on it, and probably stencil or screen her horse on the front fenders.
Kids these days, no respect for the classics. 8^)

I'm on board with the cuda modifications. Shaker hood, 71 style grill, gills. Hopefully in 2010 they have the 392 and I will be set, of course it will have the manual, I like the seats as they are, could use a new steering wheel though.
