My Chrysler Financial rep just called and said " man you are gonna be so jealous" and proceeded to tell me that he and a partner have a 2009 Challenger 5.7L 6 speed to drive for the weekend to test. He said he was out last night at 11pm burning the tires off. He did say that the transmission was very clunky and its camo'd all over. But he promised to send me tons of pics and a sound clip of the exhaust that he said was sweet !!!!!!!!

Well this would be the Tremec 6060. They are known to be quite smooth. Hmmm???

 

Gentlemen, there is a solution to this transmission issue: Get an automatic. No shifting, no fuss, no bother. And quite frankly, a car that costs at least $30,000 should drive up to you when you whistle and open its door for you to get in. WHY would you want to pay that much for something with primitive manual technology?

I met you at the mopar nationals in 2004, I believe? You were in the staging lanes, and I think that you had a problem on the run...there was actually an overhead shot in DODGE (the new car mag) sometime late in 2004 or 2005 of the staging lanes, and i was standing next to your car.
