Has anyone tried the DVD viewing feature in the 2008 Challenger with MyGIG. I'm able to hear sound but DVD menu is not selectable and no video. Yeah, I know I should be driving and not watching movies, but I needed to try all the toys out to say I know everything about the car.

 

The video feature is disabled when the car is not in Park. You must have the car in Park for video to play. If you want video to play regardless, you will have to use the MyGIG lockpick kit or other hack to enable you to do so. As a factory unit, you cannot watch video on the main display without the car being in Park.

 

I'm in park, ignition on, engine off.

 

Also the parking brake must be applied[:@]

It's crazy to have to go through that much trouble to put in a DVD! [:@]

 

What is really crazy is that if Dodge didn't required you to go thru that much trouble some one will sue Dodge because they were in an accident with someone trying to watch TV instead of drive!

 

I barely listen to radio let alone watch DVD. My kids turn on radio but when I am by myself its V8 HEMI for my listening pleasure.

 

Been noticing the same here. Have had the radio on 3 times I think...
