Two days ago I started my 08 and started driving and noticed the music wasn't playing. The car wasn't recoginizing the volume button or the sterring wheel volume adjustment. The car also displayed blank menus for HDD music. When I got back in and started the car everything was normal. I took it to Dodge in South Miami and they hadn't even seen a damn challenger yet so after a bunch of questions about how much I love it ... they say it was probloby just a glitch and by them looking at the mygig they wouldn't know because it's working .....


has this happened to anyone else?

 

haven't had any problems with mine yet,but I'm curious if there's a way to disable that stupid disclaimer on the NAV system everytime you start the car.

 

Your first mistake was going to Dodge of South Miami (known as Dadeland Dodge).

The mygig system is not unique to the Challenger. It is the same system used in the 300 and the Charger.

Go to DADE JEEP/CHRYSLER/DODGE in west Kendall and they will take care of your service issues.

 

Happened to me....has not happened a second time though...I had door open when I started car and window was going down.
I just hope it doesnt happen again.

 

At least you went in and now its noted well within warranty.

 

I had this happen, but after restarting the car the problem went away and has never happened again.

 

My CD player went dead in Magnum and I had to disconnect battery...turn key to drain system re-hook works great.
All my Dodges at one point or another have had electrical issues.
RE-BOOT all is well....

 

Reboot for the car. Got to dig it. Wacky, but I like it.

 

Anyone actually use the stereo??
