i posted the minutes in their own thread..there was only one mention of the challenger, and jason vines made it very obvious that he didnt want more challenger questions.

 

Yes, this was a totally non-challenger related press conference.

 

I am hoping this is only due to wanting to save it for an announcement tommorrow at the NASCAR race...

i wonder if theyre going to launch the challenger at a nascar event in light of the rumors of nascar going to a pony car lineup?

 

NASCAR fan is right in their sweet spot for future owners. I think they could not pick a much better forum to announce the release of the car. I know underneath the racecars are basically the same but how cool to see that body rolling around the track in Daytona. I'd love to see somebody photo-shop that.

 

Tune in for the race at Daytona... and watch for the arrival of the... you know what.

This is good news. Well in Theory. I don't hold my breath until the official word is OUT. Now when it is out, then we will have to see if they mention an MSRP, or leave us hanging for that as well.[:@]

 

Expect a high MSRP first year or two. Very low production first year with 5.7 or 6.1 Hemi only. No official MSRP will be available.

Plan is to then role out V6 and have 3 engine choices in future model years.

But what do I know?

 

so two years...its supposed to be a 2008 model, available late in 07 according to the journal...so im looking at 2010 before they put together a reasonably priced model? [&:]

i cant drive the stratus for 3 more years....
