Sublime is so tempting, if I got an old Mopar, that would be my choice. For the new one, having seen the black in Chicago, that's my first choice. If they really called the purple Statutory Grape, I might have to do it just for the un-PC factor. Bottom line the car looks sweet in whichever color. I won't even hate on the old-man gold.

If they can make "old Man gold" look like my 73 Cuda then sign me up. Otherwise I will have to settle for Hemi Orange. My daughter can not stand for White or Black (since she says she will be inheriting it and doesn't want her friends to see her in a car with out any creative pazzaz). Where do kids come from these days? Don't they realize Black is like totally wicked?! So, my daughter is pointing to my 73 'Cuda now saying dad show them this color. Let me see if I can do that ....

You have raised your daughter well. Tell her if you get black it may come in handy for funerals, weddings, etc. Just kidding, black looks nice but there's just too many black cars out there. To me they're sort of ho hum, JMHO.

That's my feeling too. As awesome as the challenger looks in black I want a color that I don't already see 100 times a day. Not to mention the only colors I've had cars in are white and black. I want a real color for a change. Not to mention the problems with keeping it clean.

I have tried a California Duster on a black car. It works okay, but sometimes leaves waxy streaks. There is no substitute for washing and touch-ups with Meguiar's Detail Spray.

I have not. When I can wash my car it's not so bad. Here's the deal though. I live in georgia. We get that yellow pollen crap in the spring time. It effects all cars obviously but on black it's the worst. On top of that there have been constant water bans so I haven't been legally able to wash my car for over 3 months. I can't afford to go to the car wash every week. When it's clean it looks great though. I figure yellow pollen will blend in better with sublime lol

Its a car duster that you can use to remove dust and stuff. Cuda340 is right though, its no substitue for washing, polishing, and waxing your car, but I use it through the week. It works well but I never tried it on a black car. I also need to wash mine, since it has been washed since I brought it a few years back. That may also have been a factor for the streaking or it could have just been the paraffin wax baked in the fibers. I also use it before I wash; especially if they car isn't horribly dirty.

I know how you feel, sometime in Louisiana we'll get the red dust from texas that blows over. All the cars get a "nice" copper look. Wow, I knew about the drought in GA, I didnt know it was that bad. So how do they justify not allowing you to not be able to washing you car but having car washes opened at gas station, franchises businesses, etc. By permits or saying that witholding water it would be a detriment to their businesses?

I would assume something similar to that. Although Pike's nusery recently declared bankruptcy because of nobody buying plants. But that's not as direct I guess. Also a lot of the car washes advertise that they recycle water. Which I assume is something they've probably always done but they're just advertising it now. In my county the ban has been the worst because the lake where we get all of our water is basically gone. Lowest it's been in some 50 years I think.
