Are you doing a CAI and a chip as well?
Are you doing a CAI and a chip as well?
This car is my daily driver in a crowded city (MIAMI). Maximum speed is almost not possible around here.
I am not sure if I'll install the CAI or chip the car.
73challenger. looks great and nice and simple and clean. Could you please give us a basic list of the parts that you had to purchase to do this job? I don't mean every exact part number , name , and price but just basically whats needed to do what you did and at least the Muffler numbers would be a great help in me picking which way to go. Thanks for any help or info you can provide! Have fun and good luck with your new CHALLENGER!!!...Fat Cat[sm=gears.gif]
In response to the last few questions............
I paid less than $400 to have this stuff done.
The list of parts is pretty simple. The mufflers are MAGNAFLOW "universal" in satin stainless steel. The muffler shop bent a short length of pipe to take the place of the resonators, and then used the stock tips. They welded everything, no clamps and it all looks great.

The resonators are used to help a 5.7L with MDS still sound good when MDS is activated because it is running on 4 cylinders.
What does your 5.7L sounds like when MDS is activated? I have been asking this question
but nobody has given me an answer yet.

On another forum owners of Charger R/Ts (5.7s) with MDS say that the sound is really poor (without resonators) when the solenoids kick in and you are running on 4 cylinders.
