Default A question for SRT owners

When you aren't pedal to the metal . What is the average gas mileage that you get. I almost purchased a 08 SRT used with 300 miles on it last Sept. But waited and purchased a new 09 R/T 6 speed . But something about having the SRT still stick's in my mind.

I drive mine hard every day and I normally average 18. I got 24 on my last all highway business trip and that included several times passing traffic doing 100+.

In local traffic, I am averaging 16 mpg, with only 358 miles on the odometer.

That is not bad mpg for the SRT 8 . For some reason I thought they got around 12 mpg. I may have to drive one . I don't see many SRT on the road . But for that matter only a few R/T . Love my 6 speed R/T . But having some problem's with my right arm and shoulder. A old injury . Hope I don't have to give up my 6 speed . But if I do I'll go to the SRT with automatic.

Between 16 and 18, depending on if I use real gas or blend.
