Default Redline Tuning QuickLift Gas Springs System

So I was upset that the SE and especially the R/T’s did not have gas springs like the SRT, but had a prop-rod instead. So I decided to send Redling Tuning an email to see if they have a kit out for the 2009 SE and R/T Challenger’s. This is the email I received (Shorten):

“ Subject: Re: 2008-2009 Dodge Challenger Hood Quicklifts

Yes we are, we just need a volunteer vehicle near us for a few hours
(Dexter, Michigan). Once we can line someone up, we will get this
product to market. So, for your post about development - this person will receive the
system for free, 2-3 hours of their time will be needed, they can sit
and watch as we develop it and shoot the photos for installation...
their vehicle will be featured on our site and in the installation
manual...

Thanks for your help - hopefully we'll hear from someone and get this
vehicle on our list.

Thanks,
Brian
Redline Tuning
Owner”

If anyone is near and can volunteer their vehicle they will get a free set of Quicklifts gas springs. And if you own a SRT, take-it anyways and get a free kit and sell-it to someone here who will need-it. Spread the word about this on other Challenger forums and Mopar forums.

Thanks.

P.S. Administrators can you please sticky this. Thanks.

I would think and important piece of info would be where they are located.

Come on. How big can Dexter, Mich., be? Just drive around a while.

You could just buy the MOPAR part, that's what we did with our 07 Charger

You guys can buy MOPAR parts, but I prefer to have a variety of aftermarket parts available. Vast Available Aftermarket Parts = Inexpensive Prices.

There are several online store selling MOPAR. if you shop around you can find good deals on the parts you need. I'll pay more to have orginal parts the same way I paid more for the Challenge. I could have gotten an inexpense car and saved big bucks.
