Rubber Floor Mats

RE: Rubber Floor Mats
Umm, excuse me, but rubber floor mats? That's like wearing a condom when your doing Giselle Bundchen. This is a Challenger, not a Corolla. What's next, vinyl slip covers for the racing seats? Just buy two sets of carpeted mats and have one for driving and one for show.

The ones weathertech creates protect the entire floor board. Having two carpeted sets will only allow you to cover up the damage from water, mud and the like with a pretty set of carpeted mats. I would rather have the custom set of carpeted mats I have for show and some custom all-weather mats to actually protect the car. But, I can understand your position.

Way to go, robman! You delivered a well-deserved seal-clubbing to a pair of garage-queen-keeping malcontents! Stating that you want to actually PROTECT your car means you obviously USE the car!

RE: Rubber Floor Mats
The big rubber mats that I pulled out of my Suburban actually fit the Challenger pretty well. I picked them up at the local parts store. You know the mats...they have the deep diamond-plate pattern on them to keep the junk contained on the mats. While I do not intend on taking my car out in the muck, I still have to get in it to move it from time to time. I figured I'd keep these mats on top of the good ones until spring.
