Rumors- Who to Believe?
as long as I get my order in as sonn as they start taking them and I can take delivery before the bad weather sets in. I want some real drive time and the fall time frame will work for me to take home my baby.
This interesting bit of news about hood striping and wheel options was posted on allpar by an "insider":
"...SRT rim style will be exclusive to the SRT, as they have been with other models. The R/T will come standard with 18" aluminum wheels, while chrome clad 20" wheels will be an option/package. No white-letter tires on any of the Challenger models btw. I believe hood stripes will be SRT only, but this is a feature that is easy to change at any time so it's hard to make a prediction as to what they will do. I'm sure that they have some sort of plans in place for a variety of different cosmetic "treatments" for the different models, whether at launch or throughout the model year.
Something else that should be noted per the recent spy pics of the Challenger, especially anyone basing their "final" decision/opinion on what they like and don't like - the photos are of pre-production vehicles and come reveal/production time there could certainly be some minor changes."

"It will be interesting to see how they end up differentiating the three interiors as far as the I/P goes. Push-button start will be an option on the base model and standard on R/T and SRT. Three different radios will be used including of course MyGIG. But the A/C controls will be the same across the board and I haven't seen any mention of silver, carbon fiber or other color bezels."

There was a post on another site that said the new system in the Challenger will be keyless (called "Keyless-Go"). All you will have to do is press the button on the key fob to start the car. In addition, the system has "proximity entry", so you can simply walk up to the vehicle and the doors will automatically unlock.
Also, the Start button will be on the dash and the 0-60 timer will be like LX models, in the EVIC display.

That is from an insider? It says nothing...tomorrow it might rain but if it doesn't then it certainly won't. We'll know more about it the day after tomorrow.
Ummmmmmmmm....duh!
