SE under powered?

RE: SE under powered?
If I was in the market for another car I would certainly consider it. Some considerations:
4 doors would definately be better if youre carting kids around.
Gas mileage would be pretty decent for the coolness factor.
I imagine it will be as nice of a driver as anything out there.
The price is right for what your getting.
Very high on the cool scale... 10 of 10!!
I would have to say... GO FOR IT...

The rental Charger I had a few months ago was totally cool and handled nicely in snow. If I were in the market for a 4-door car, I'd definitely get one.

It hurts to hear that, but I love the new technology. 240HP from a V6 isnt bad at all, I know they dont have the tourqe numbers I do, but my Dakota came stock with 250HP. At 4600lbs it gets almost 14MPG driving daily, I would go for a V6, you would have almost as much accelration as my truck, but twice the fuel milage. I love have things have improved in the last 8 years!

wallstreetman, ok please wire me an extra 8 grand so I can buy the R/T. I'll also need a check for about $150 every month to pay for the additional insurance and gas costs.

I DISAGREE. 250 HP is adequate power for any car. No it will never smoke the tires - but it is enough for "spirited" driving.
You can get 100% of the muscle car looks and need to save 8 grand less than the R/T - the SE model is very worthy.
The 6 banger will deliver decent power and great MPG.
Go test drive a 300 or Charger and you'll see that 250 HP is pretty decent.

I will never understand why the 3.5 is not in more applications. Out of all the engines Dodge has ever production built, the 3.5L makes the second highest amount of torque per cubic inch.
