RG... keep in mind... you will not be able to enjoy your Challenger from prison when the warranty police come and bust you on Night Line...

Anyway, getting into anything more than the intake just sounds too costly to me anyway and if I could afford it Id just get the R/T.
I may be wrong, but I believe free warranty work done by the dealer is reimbursed by The Mother Ship. Every time I take my car or truck in for service, they're always looking for free stuff to do.

At any rate, it all boils down to your level of comfort between money, performance, and warranty risk. The V6 will provide you good go wrapped in an awesome looking car, but chances are it won't win many street races. If you want kick-ass performance and you can afford an R/T, go for it. If you're broke and want R/T performance, ask Santa

Other options not discussed yet are putting the car on a diet.

A good bang for the buck mod would be a CAI for the 3.5L v6. Should get around 10-15 hp gain for about $150 with some research.

Now throw a 6spd manual on it and sell the heck out of it. I don't know why they don't consider this....

if you get to know the sevrvice manager and ask questions. I'm sure they'll be happy to excuse the fact you have a Mopar CAI. As for the tune just hope you don't break down or wreck, then your really screwed. Your best bet is to just put Mopar stuff on it that you bought from the dealer and let them know ask questions and be in touch. These people aren't evil they'll work with you. Especially if your giving them bussiness. I would love to get a tune on the other hand but it's always worried me that if for some reason i blow a tranny or something to that extint that I won't be able to put it back to the factory settings.
