Blackflag:
Now that Jurgen has indicated that Daimler may be interested in selling off Chrysler, I doubt if there is much marketing or development money flowing from Germany to Auburn Hills...I wouldn't be surprised if it all dries up in the near future, or if they start cancelling Chrysler programs.

which means the challenger will not be built this is why we may not be hearing anything about the car because it has already been canceled

Jake
I'll admit that when I saw that the challenger was not on the home page of dodge.com today ( it was still on the website though) I was a little disheartened, but I think that canceling the challenger seriously hurt DCX's credibility. And that is much more dangerous than a dozen camaro and camaro convertible ads. Besides, in every article that I’ve read still had a mention of the challenger so I can only hope that mums is the word.

Umm, maybe you should read some of the other posts, like how Chrysler announced they would unveil the production model of the Challenger at the Chicago Auto Show and they have a countdown clock with like 355 days left on it and she will be built in Canada.

P.S.= Once again let us all pray for a 'cuda and good luck everyone on getting your Challengers or 'cudas.

Hi guys.
I don't want to upset anyone, but once again...here's the truth.
As of today, there at NO Challenger dies at Twinsburg stamping. When we finally recieve them, they will have to go thru a try-out procedure and quality buy-off. NO die can ever be ran as soon as they enter the building. With-out final grinding, polishing and "tweaking", they will never make an acceptable part.

I want this car as bad as the rest, but we are late!

First post here. I thought I saw on the news (only caught the tail end of the it) that Chrysler was "re-evaluating" their large car/large truck line-up. Could this be a reason for no news?

Why do I feel like Chief Brody in Jaws II when no one would listen to him?

Hmm...maybe because we've all seen this before. Money talks, and they're fresh out. Everybody here wants to see the new Challenger, but it's starting to look a little iffy.
