YOU MUST DO THE SRT THANG!!

What a great group of people.....It was my pleasure to finally meet you guys!

For those of you with SRTs or awaiting one, You MUST use this offer!! It was far beyond any expectations I had. The SRT Team puts on a fantastic day. Drive a Viper in a short winding course, Experience AutoCross competition in the Calibre and the Jeep, Push the limits of yourself and the cars while going around miles of racetrack in 300Ms, Calibres, Chargers and Magnums. Go heads up and Drag Race against your teammates in the 300, Charger, Jeep and Magnum.

In Las Vegas we had the lucky dual experience of the Air Show going on overhead at the same time. I could not have scripted a better day! The only thing I would have added is to have had my wife there to enjoy the day with me. Unfortunately, she could not make it, so my friend Shane joined me. Of course he is raving about this as much as the rest of us.

Good Luck and be safe everyone,

Dave

P.S. Here you go Shaky....I posted again. I'll try to check in at least once a week.

We all had fun!

Mopar2ya had a reaction time of 0.000 on the tree when we did the heads up racing. For those of you who dont know... Thats a rare time slip.

The reports on SRT Experience are accurate and complete. The Chrysler/Petty set up covers everything and nothing is left wanting. They are enthusiastic and supportive. Oh, did I mention the cars???? All the SRT's really grab at the pavement on the track experince, I think we felt the Chargers and suprisiningly the Jeeps held better traction at the drag strip, though we were limitied by keeping SEP on, SRT Calibers offered up suprising pep. While I was among the wienies of the group, Andre and Joani drove with most bravado, and quiet Mike took the driving award for our group. Perfect weather day...sunny 70's clear sky. Yes, adjacent overhead air show was cool to see also.

Evening dinner with group was great time to enjoy conversataion about backgrounds from everybody.

Sunday I did a one day bus, helicopter, raft float at West Rim of Grand Canyon, and midnight flight home.

My invitiation for social and automotive gathering this (2009) summer here in Detroit is still open...Mopars in Motown! I need only a little feedback as to what long weekend, and I can set up hotels, and events 4 days here, plus your travel to and from. Probably probably under $600.00 including hotels, meals and activity.

This trip we learned nothing about the speed of Orange, Black or Silver. The fastest cars at the track (at least running) were Red, Blue and Green!
