I think superchargers are great, but they put a parasitic power drain (and lower MPG) on the engine and such a huge shock on the powertrain that it really
wears your car out.

I think the new dual turbochargers are certainly a good option for the street as they have very little lag due to lower mass material technology.
I do like the rear turbochargers that seem promising, plus it gives you more engine room.

I suppose it really doesn't matter to some, but for me, I would like to get the biggest baddest engine possible. As for features, I doubt there will be any features worth spending an extra 2K? ,4K, 6K more for? 8^) What maybe a DVD player for the kids while you set a new land speed record? 8^) I suppose the only thing worth the SRT-8 will be paint, decal and hood options, and possibly brakes and wheels. - Is that enough? For some maybe. Personally, I am torn, I want a low production number first year run, but I also do not want to pay MSRP or more and I want and SRT-8. Why? I want all the decals, hoods and other related things that could possibly come on the SRT-8, but I don't want to spend thousands more for them - there has to be a solution to this SRT vs RT thing - I guess it is all in our heads.

My head is starting to hurt from waiting - I want to see the options available

for me 425 horses is more than enough. I was checking out the camaro forum and noticed there is a rumor that a supercharged 550hp camaro with a roots-style blower is coming out. But the funny thing is that many people on the camaro forum think the new camaro looks like crappola.

I think the Camaro in the movie look good and it was the better choice since the car looks futuristic which is bad for us guys who like the retro look which
the Challenger has more of.

It's funny how one of the best-wired sources in all of Mopar-land keeps posting this stuff and you guys keep ignoring him.

Guys, 6.9 liters is 426 ci. Wake up, y'all.

6.985, actually. But they won't call it a 7 liter because "everyone knows" a 7 liter is a 427.
