I have not yet, but I am worried mine(when it finally comes in darnit!!!!!) will get swiped someday! its a daily driver and I cant get it into my garage....so it will be in the driveway everynight.....safe neighborhood....but as we all know, no neighborhood is truely safe....also, there is a double whammy when parking in lots.....do you park far away from other cars as not to get door dinged? but then run the risk of being so far away from people that your car is an easy target? lol....tough call....lets just hope the alarm works well! haha

This was one of the major reasons we got rid of our convertible. With a soft top, they are easy targets. Many times I would get that very uneasy feeling leaving it in the mall parking lot when seeing groups of "kids" hanging out nearby..
I have had two cars stolen from my driveway (previous addresses) in "nice" neighorhoods, a 1976 Trans-Am, and a 1975 Monte Carlo SS. (Both recovered..unstripped except for custom wheels) Trust he it's a strange feeling to walk out to your car in the morning...and it's not there. You start looking down the street thinking you parked it somewhere else, all the time knowing that you didn't.
Someday someone will post the first pictures of a "stripped" Challenger sitting on blocks.....we can only hope it's not ours....

I had a car stolen from my driveway several years ago in a nice suburban neighborhood. I know that this is overkill, but besides the ignition lock and alarm that comes with the SRT, I will have the following:

Revelo Anti-Theft device
The Wrap (alarmed club)
Rear wheel boot
Wheel locks
Locking gas cap
Lojack decals
Car cover with cable lock

Parked near front door of house under two 150 watt motion detector spotlights
Second car will always be parked behind it at night with a club on its wheel

The whole point of a Lojack system is so the theif's don't know you have it.

If they see a Lojack decal , they will remove the lojack.

I anticipate many being protected with Lojack.

I will probably do Lojack for when the car is not in the locked & alarmed garage.

I will clearly communicate that the car is protected by Smith & Wesson!

With all that, Cuda, I take it you have to leave the house a good half-hour or so before you have to leave the driveway.

Forget the Smith & Wesson, I will protect my new challenger with either my legally registered MP40 or M2 Carbine.

or I might want to use my registered 12 gage semi-auto shotgun with a ten round mag and 8 inch barrel. Which one should I use?

quite honestly, if someone steals it I wouldn't want it back after all the damage and would rather just go buy another one with the insurance money.
Also, with the whole engine shutting off once you hit the brake when the key is more then 10 feet away it will be hard to steal that way unless they were in the inside and if that is the case, they deserve the car........hehehe
