For my Dodge Caravan, I change my regular standard oil out every 5K miles and the oil always looks clean.
The 3K mile change interval myth is a oil companies dream that has worked. It is just a waste of money. |

Under normal driving conditions (at least for Asian) you're typically seeing 7500 intervals with water light 5w30. I go 10w30 rotella.
