Default Target for Rain

So, I can't get my new Chally out without getting caught in the rain. Day one on the way home from the dealer, I got caught in a huge down pour! Day 2 I washed it since it had road grime all over it from the ride home and took it out that evening. Of course while I was out, I got caught in another storm. And finally, today day 7, I was washing it to go to the local car show, and a storm came out of no where just as I finished washing it before it got dried.
Anyway, just needed to vent some frustration to people who would understand. Hopefully the whole summer doesn't go this way!

So jono, where you live? Just now finally getting decent weather here in Washington after a cold, wet winter and spring. Did have some pretty intense thunderstorm activity last night though.

My car will never see rain. If the forecast is within 200 miles, it stays in the garage.

yeah, i said the same thing about not taking out if rain is forecasted, but it's nearly impossible. DC has had a storm roll through part of it everyday for the past 10 days. every weather prediction on the news these days says 50% chance of rain. the storms seem to come out of no where as well. i'm gonna baby this car, but it is still a car that is meant to be driven; not a trailer queen.

All of this is why the thinking man buys TWO Challengers: One to keep in the garage and one to be driven. Hopefully, the daily driver starts life as a rental car and can be acquired for a reasonable price.

I was in St. Ignace MI. this weekend for their big car show and a dealer from westbrach MI brought a chally on a open trailer on friday night and it rained friday night and early sat. mourning. The deal also had a tag of $56,000 on it. Not to mention the viper club of america was their who also got rained on, well for those who didnt have an enclosed trailer.
