Default Trick but no Treat for Chrysler/Challenger

This October, it may be all trick and no treat for the Chrysler and the Challenger
Looks like Cerberus may be craving up Chrysler as if it were a Jack-o-lantern this Halloween!

Via "Automotive News".........

Cerberus and GM are moving full-steam-ahead in their efforts to get a GM-Chrysler deal done by the end of October. Today also brings news Renault may have their hand in the cookie jar too, negotiating for one or more parts of Chrysler and leading to speculation the Auburn Hills, MI-based automaker could be divvied up among several companies: Basically the worst-case scenario envisioned when Cerberus Capital Management took over in 2007. Finally, we've got an unsubstantiated rumor engineering employees at Chrysler may be getting two months off sans pay beginning...drumroll please...November 1st. Coincidence? Maybe. Also, David Faber of CNBC had a chance to sit down with ChryslerCo CEO, Bob "The Builder" Nardelli; while we haven't had a chance to run through it in its entirety, hit the jump for the a full transcript of the CNBC interview with Nardelli.

(*Wow...I've always wanted a Renault SRT...............)
The news is not looking to good for Dodge if there is any truth to this story......

I dunno, Paladin. These things could turn into the DeLoreans of the 21st century. Can you spell P-A-R-T-S? [&o]

I don't think so but hey 904 of 6400 is 904 of 6400.

Another subject, how are you enjoying that SE? I'm thinking of getting my daughter one when she graduates from basic training.

Actually, I love it. Steve Legel seemed impressed when I took him to lunch yesterday. It's a fine car for the money.

Actually, there is a company producing "New" DeLoreans using old stock of parts mixed with new manufactued parts......Of course the question becomes....WHY.....But there are a lot of people that like the DeLorean.....(They also restore DeLoreans)(By the way, coke is not an option on the new DeLoreans)

You're right, I'm weak.

Hey there is a group of guys putting on a car show at Queen Creek and Power Rd, the Safeway Store tomorrow. Not real sure of the time.

I'll see if I can drop by, but I think my better half may have plans for me already
(Got to be nice to her as she let me buy emblems and a shifter for my Challenger...she's been very understanding about the "other women" in my life)
