It states on the challengerregistry that my car was built on 8/29. Is this info. reliable? My Vin is 9h520437. I dont think the delivery dates are reliable, just want to know if the car was actually built. Thanks. wrongway

This means that you were moved to scheduled status and have a firm build date as of 08/29 that does not mean that your car was built. VinWIN isn't up-to-the-second accurate, but it's very likely your car has not been built yet. Once your car moves to I status (inspection) or KZ status (released from plant) you'll know your car has been built. The date attached to D1 status just means your car moved into a "scheduled for build" state on that date, not that it is being built on that date.

 

My car was built one week after the scheduled date.
