If so a 7k mark-up is a little much, since you can get a new one cheaper than that. These clowns that mark-up even the used challengers are ridiculous!

a collectors item?..you've got to be kidding...why not put the car in fleet sales?....seems common practice of the boys in auburn hills....the 09's are out dude with srt being available with a 6 speed..may i suggest you list this in crigslist were you have at least a chance of screwing over an unsuspecting dupe

Hahaha, what he said. I find it very amusing that a car dealer would come to this sight and try to pull the 'collectable' ploy on the very knowledgable folks here. I am not sure what that represents, naviety perhaps. One dealership in VA has thirteen of the 2008's at MSRP.

GOOD JOB NOT KNOWING ABOUT THE CAR YOU ARE SELLING. 2008 MODELS DO NOT HAVE 3.92 GEARS NOR IS IT WORTH 47K AND IS NOT A COLLECTIBLE ITEM DUE TO THE FACT THAT 09 SRT8 PRODUCTION IS LESS THAN 08 PRODUCTION. I GOT AN 09 SRT8 FOR INVOICE GIVE ME THAT ON YOUR 08 AND ILL BUY IT.

If the car is not a collectible car then why are so many COLLECTORS buying them? The Limited Edition 2008 will be a collectors car and have a MUCH greater value then the 2009 or any other normal production run of the new Dodge Challenger.

Then Ill see you there as well with an even bigger check when I buy a used plum crazy charger that i bought for 20k only 300 were produced. Oh wait, that is right they are worth nothing. If you bought the car as an investment, you bought the wrong car. It is not a collectible and wont be unless chrysler caves in bankrupt next week.

I am pretty sure the value of 3000 srt8 2009 is more valuable than the 6400 2008s. Plus hemi orange is available in 09, look how chrysler treated the collectibility of the 08s. oh wait, that is right they didnt sell it for people to collect. They offered 09 hemi orange because people who are going to drive the car want this color. So there goes any value your car has.

hopefully you understand that one day and enjoy your car while you can. Life is short.
