Letting Aaron Cole write an editorial about the Challenger is like Larry the Cable guy doing brain surgery. He should stick to something he knows more about-maybe basket weaving or knitting. Probly sits to pee.

Actually, I called and talked to him on the phone today. He's going ot send me the newspaper for my collection. I told him he created quite a stir, and that much of what he said is true, and how we love our Challengers. I explained about emotion and not just transportaiton. I invited him to Detroit to see the old and new together. He is younger than the days of muscle car wars, and admits he does not really understand. The phone call connection failed just as I was going to explain about Motown and American auto industry.

Seemed nice enough and well intentioned. He might be checking the site.

Sorry, but in my mind it still doesn’t excuse him for writing a story that was filled with opinions passed off as facts. For the uneducated who have never been around a Challenger or old muscle cars…they will accept everything in the article as factual, which is really unfair to the Challenger, and for that matter Challenger owners. No, he may be a “nice guy”, but I find his “reporting” to be very lacking….he needs to get his facts straight before writing on a subject that he knows nothing about….
If he was really well intentioned..he would have done more research on the subject "before" writing the story. (I question both his intentions and his reporting skills)

 

he's lucky most of us drivers are beer drinkin crap shooters that nod there heads at metal buckets, cause if someone wrote a article like he did about a Prius, you'd have every environmentalist yahoo on the net telling him he's going to hell for not saving polar bears, probably get his site hacked haha

 

I agree, you are both right.

I do think we need to be more careful of the name calling on the forum...just in general.
