haha..we have mustang owners here too...

but if you think about it..i know alot of f body and stang owners who are mopar guys, but they coudlnt afford an older mopar, and they wanted a pony car/muscle car..what choices does a mopar guy have?

1-waste 80g on a viper?

2-spend a ton of restoring an older mopar or driving a beater, and even when fully restored, i dont know that i would want a nice old mopar as my DD...

3-buy a mustang or camaro...


so, it seems like one of the few options is to buy a mustang or camaro/firebird...thus following the trend, but with this car, dodge has a chance to put those mopar enthusiasts back in a mopar...

 

Yep, that is pretty much how I looked at it.

Don't get me wrong though, I like driving my new mustang. it is fun to drive.

 

i wouldnt buy a mustang simply because of alot of the people who drive them...but i am very tempted by the GTO.. *sliding my flame suit on*

but realistically, the odds are good that if DCX attempts to make the challenger an elite/super car, i will buy an evolution.

 

Yeah? A GTO? The new one? I guess it's personal preference...

I think the thing just looks like a riced up Grand Prix... I know it's got some power, but design wise it does nothing for me...

Design wise, it doesn't hold a candle to this Challenger...

oh, i could never argue with you there..i dont like the look of it..i like the "fast" of it...my next car will have 12 second potential with very little work...evo 9s are capable of this with very minor effort, and a good launch...

 

If I get my way and get the black one it will be BACK IN BLACK-AC/DC, since my original was a black one, but only after a few days of stereo exhaust! My wife wants the orange though. In that case I don't know what I'll be playing, probably Crazy Train-OZZY.

 

Booss.....I got to tell you.....your reply back to Rob about his comment about Flowmasters being heard from speaker made me laugh so hard I almost fell out of my chair.

I had to explain to my wife and son what I was laughing because it just struck very very funny. Thanks to both of you for that almost 5 minutes of laughter at my house.
