I like your selection as I am an 80's metal head also. Kind of obscure but check out a song called Gearhead by Tattoo. It's all about muscle cars and will be played loudly in my Challenger.

Sammy Hagar - I Can't Drive 55 (no driving song collection is complete with that one)
Molly Hatchet - Flirtin With Disaster
Guns N Roses - You Could be Mine (agree with you on that one, koopa)
And the best song IMHO to haul a$$ to...
Deep Purple - Highway Star (need I say more)

I have a special cd made as follows1? robin trower -bridge of sighs, ted nugent -stranglehold, eagle- those shoes, ten years after- change the world, zz top- fool for your stockings. traffic- low spark of the high heel boys, dire straights- brothers in arms. I'll probably plug that in

Highway Star would be great. There was so much great music back in the day that was timeless. The new eagles double cd is a pretty good cruising cd. Sit back, turn it up, rack up the miles. Something I ran across, while trying to find dvd-audio or dts cd audio for the accura's bose 7to1 surround sound was porcupine tree - deadwing. It was pretty cool kinda like old school music.

I have a 'new car' Cd that I burned (legally, of course!) a few years back that has "Dont Stop Believin'" by Journey, "Life is a Highway" by Tom Cochrane, "Take me Home extemded version" by Phil Collins, and "Ants Marching" by Dave Matthews... I have listened to the Journey song in every new car (all 30+ of them) I have had since 1986!
